Dentist

Went to the dentist today to get 2 of my teeth filled. Don't look at me...wasn't my fault I got cavities. Dentists themselves said I was brushing my teeth really well when I went to get my cleaning. Hardly had to do a thing, they did. And for good reason, I've been brushing my teeth like 3 times a day.

One of the dentists told me that it'd looked like I'd had my teeth filled before, however, there were cavities growing beneath my fillings. My guess is, either they or some other dentists didn't do a good enough job with the fillings, and it was their fault.

Man, I sure hope those dentists got it right this time. I don't want my parents to have to spend any more money for the mistakes of these dentists.

Back From The Orthodontist

We just got back from the orthodontist at around 10:43 this morning. NO MORE BRACES!!

It wasn't too bad getting them off actually, except for when they scraped the glue off. Yeah, lots of pressure. Ehh, doesn't feel too great.

Felt kind of weird having no braces. I mean, I'd been wearing them things for a few years now. Made me feel like there was something on my teeth....like my lips! =D

Yeah, but it was cool! Look different now. Wow! Totally different from what my teeth WERE like. I was a bad case, man....

Going to get my retainer in a week. They did my molds. Apparently I don't get to choose whether or not I want the metal or the plastic... I was GOING to go with metal, but whatever.... Actually, now I think I'd go with plastic anyways, so...

SO YEAH!! Here's a pic of me and Will (Yes, he got his off same time too. NO FAIR!!) without braces. Um, by the way, that hat I'm wearing...I was just being silly that night, just so you know....that is the only reason I'm wearing it.

Braces

I'm going to the orthodontist in 7 min. Yep, they're taking my braces off!!! YAY!!!! =D

Result Of Three Wishes

Tonight a funny conversation came up about how we three kids came to be. At the time we were in the bathroom brushing our teeth. Here's the basics of what was said.


Will: No, no, we came from a genie lamp. We were the result of three wishes. (Points to me, himself, and Jaime) Daughter, son, daughter.

Courtney: Yeah, Mom wished for that, but what she got was (Points to myself, Will, and Jaime) daughter, son, MONKEY!

Jaime: No! She got (Points to me, Will, and herself) BRAT, son, monkey!

Courtney: Yeah, I was the result of a wish gone bad.

Will: A bad wish!

Braces (They're Coming Off!!!!)

That would be brace face down there. =)‡)


Guess what?! I should be getting my braces off by the end of the summer!!!! ...along with Will (so wrong). Any hoot, that's all I've got to say. I'm really happy about it!!!

I'm going to have to choose between a plastic retainer and a metal retainer. I think I'm going to go with metal when the time comes to choose. It may allow my teeth to move a bit more, but at least it won't get all filthy inside.
