Jaime is working on reconstructing the blog. It's really in need of something more appealing, now that the template designer can be used. Expect it to look a little--errmmm--out of place and strange for a while!

Some Cute Animal Pictures

This isn't really much of a post but I just couldn't resist putting on some pictures of Annie, our adorable pit bull mix...

The lighting isn't very good in this one
but it is one of the few pictures I found.

Alligator!!! No, this is just Annie yawning.

Annie smiling at us.

I have no idea what she is doing here.

Annie again...I think she is panting...

Annie once more.

Is it just me or does it look like she
is winking?

Annie sniffing the air.

Oh...surprise guest. This is Fruity, the mother
of Faithful, and some other birds...I think one of the
others was named Patience. (We don't have any
pictures of him that I know of.)

Here is Faithful. She is a little bit mean at times.
Once she bit me on the ear. And I'll tell you, that hurt!
She has been nicknamed "Little One" even though she
is no longer little. Well, same size as the others.

Faithful or "Little One" again. She is close up on this one.

Alright, back to Annie.

He was right there in our garden! Right in front of our
house! Luckily, it was only a black snake.

Aww! Isn't she cute?

Annie sleeping in Courtney's covers.

Well, I guess that is about all for now...just wait until I get some recent pics though. I have something pretty funny in the house.

HUNTING: YOUNG BUCK!!!!

HURRAY!!! Dad and Will shot a young buck when they went hunting today. They haven't returned yet, but Mom got off talking on the phone with Dad earlier, and he told her about it, and she told us (me and Jaime). Dad shot the deer, and I reckon their, err, doing it up, I guess. I don't remember how you say it. It wouldn't be dressing it would it? I don't know, but the important part is that they finally got a deer! Plus, they'll be bringing me home a chicken sandwich from McDonalds! And Jaime too, but that's not important, lol. ...Will got to drive our Trail Blazer....grrrr. No, I'm not angry, but one of these days I want to drive it. Well, I guess that'll be all for now.

My Riddle

Yesterday, my brother asked me to make him a riddle to solve...well, this is all I could come up with...you might not get it...if you come up with the answer, just post a comment with your answer. I told my sister about it and asked her the answer and when she didn't know the answer I told her the answer...and she just stared at me like "ooookkkkkk...that's strange." Well, here it is!

No matter how much I bug you...

No matter how hard you scrub me...
I'll never be free of the stink...

What am I?

I'll give the answer some time next week.

A Christian poem I Wrote

This is another poem I wrote last night. (Wednesday) This is a Christian one that calls us, Christians, sheep and Jesus the shepherd. It is made of all couplets. It illustrates some things that we Christians might have to go through spiritually. Here it is. Enjoy!

A Shepherd's Love
By: Jaime Robinson

The Lord is my shepherd,
I will listen to his word.

Though I am a sinner,
He will make me a winner.

From my sin, I took a leap,
And became one of His sheep.

But a wolf came and he,
Decided to take me.

He came very sneakily,
And used his flattery.

As a weak sheep, I fell for it,
And landed in his dark pit.

Then I began to pray,
Every night and every day.

On the seventh day I saw,
The Lord of light and law.

Then my Lord was struck,
And He fell in the muck.

The wolf came from around a bend,
Struck my Lord again, and that was the end.

"He's gone," the wolf said.
My Lord was dead.

I kept thinking about it,
But remained in the pit.

Then it was, after three days,
I looked up and saw golden rays.

Suddenly, I was out of the pit,
And that was when I saw it.

I slowly, carefully, turned around,
And fell on my face on the ground.

I was now revived,
For my Lord was alive.

A Poem I Wrote While I was Doing My School

I was doing (well supposed to be doing) my school work and I couldn't concentrate so I started writing this poem. I like writing poems. If you didn't notice I have posted alot of them. :) Enjoy!

Paul's Gift Of Forgiving
By: Jaime Robinson

There once lived a boy named Paul,
Who's brother's name was Saul.
Saul was mean,
But Paul could be seen,
Buying his brother a mall.

Paul remained nice,
Rescueing even mice.
But Saul was still mean,
And was always seen,
Putting down his brother's shirt, cold ice.

Paul says, "Jesus loves all,
All short and all tall.
He wants all to come,
Into His kingdom.
He will also forgive you, Saul."

Saul looks down shamefully,
And says, "I'm so sorry.
I have been so mean,
When you could be seen,
Giving me all you have joyfully.

I want to be a Christian,
And will carefully listen,
To all that you have to say.
And I promise you, I will pay,
For all the mean things I have done."

Paul says, "You're forgiven.
Let's go on livin'.
Ask God to forgive you.
As a Christian , you're new,
So I will tell you, Jesus' life was given."

A Dream I Had One Time

I can't remember many dreams but this post is about one that I think I will always remember.

In my dream, there was a boxing match going on at the end of my street. (That really has nothing to do with the dream but it was part of it.) Practically my whole family was there. All except my dad, I think. He was supposed to be at work. Well, I was not overly interested in boxing so I headed on home. (Which looked pretty close to my real house in appearance.) As I was walking up the street I saw my dad coming home and his work truck (he works at James River Air Conditioning and is a Commercial Service Technician. I don't really know what that is but I saw it on some work card and that's what he says he is.) and his truck was on fire! Then I heard him call "Turn off the coffee pot!" or something like that. The first thing that popped into my head was "The coffee pot?!" But since he was my dad I did so. After I turned it off I turned my head and saw a dinosaur in standing in the living room! Terrified, I ran to the sunroom (which we don't really have) and it followed. I closed the door and sighed with relief. It was then that I saw the door knob turning! (It was one of those door knobs that has the thing that you push down. I don't know how else to describe it so I hope you know what I mean.) I just stood there in disbelief. The dinosaur started walking towards me and me backing up. I came to the end of the room where I was cornered. I got down on my knees and prayed to God. I saw the dinosaurs wide open mouth coming down upon my head and then I was awoken by my mom. My prayer was answered!

Kind of a strange dream but it's the only one I can remember. It actually seemed real in my dream though.
That was my dream.

Check out these neat songs from Phil Wickham, one of my favorite Christian singers. They're really good, at least, in my opinion they are. The songs are called (in order) True Love, Mystery, Sailing On A Ship, Desire, Cannons, and After Your Heart.
