Jaime is working on reconstructing the blog. It's really in need of something more appealing, now that the template designer can be used. Expect it to look a little--errmmm--out of place and strange for a while!

World's Best Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour


Instructions


Cream sugars, butter and oil. Then add egg. Mix well. Mix other ingredients together, and add them to wet ingredients, mixing well. Roll in balls and press with glass dipped in sugar. (Get glass sticky by touching to the dough first.) Bake at 375 degrees, 10-12 minutes. Enjoy this recipe!

Any way,

Today (or this Morning) we went to

Westmoreland Berry Farm

(www.westmorelandberryfarm.com),

and We bought some Raspberries,

Blueberries, and Peaches! After

that we went to the Beach and ate

Lunch there And went in the

water!! The water was nice and

warm, Which is VERY nice for

ME!!!!

We Had a Very Fun time!! I found

an eel-fish, I got Pinched By A

Crab, And Had LOTS of fun!!

And on the way Home I Got to look

at and Hear some one play the

Violin!!!

(I Want to play one one day)

Alexis, this is not the recipe for the cookies my mom used to bring to church. Those were ginger cookies. I will have the recipe for those soon. I am glad to hear you had fun.Keep in touch! Jaime
